Shannon Pereira makes Canadian Women’s World League 2 Team!

Congratulations to Shannon Pereira on being selected to the Canadian Senior Women’s team for 2017 Gryphon Hockey World League Round 2 Championships.  This tournament, hosted by Canada, will be played at West Vancouver’s Rutledge Field from April 1-9, 2017.  Keep it up, Shannon!

The season started with a Bronze in the Scarborough Cup 2016, which was hosted by the the Club.
Once again the Team won the Bronze in The Canadian Indoor Classic in Feb 2017.

Keegan Pereira named to Canada’s Olympic Team!

Titans’ Keegan Pereira has achieved every competitive athlete’s dream!  He is going to the 2016 Rio Olympics and all Titans are very proud of him!  Keegan, son of Titans’ Head Coach and Titans’ Treasurer, Reggie and Colleen Pereira, has been earning accolades as a member of Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team for several years.  Congratulations, Keegan, on this huge achievement!  We will be closely following your exploits in Rio!

Shannon Pereira breaks into Senior Women’s National Team

Titans’ Shannon Pereira earned her first Senior National Cap for Canada, when the team toured Japan in late June 2016.  She is now one of 20 athletes named to play against the US and India in Lancaster, Pennsylvania which begins July 22nd.  Congratulations, Shannon – keep it up!

Shannon has been a member of the Canadian Junior National team for the past two years.  Along with another Titan, Adrienne Houle, they represented Canada at the 2016 PanAm Junior Women’s Championship in Trinidad and Tobago.

U-16 Girls are York University Junior Indoor Champs!

Our U-16 girls team won the YORK UNIVERSITY indoor championship this past weekend.
They beat  Dolphins 3-1, CFHCC 2-0, GOA 5-4 , Lost to Brampton 3-1 in the league stages.
In The Finals they beat Brampton convincingly  5-1 and became worthy champions.
The previous weekend at the Brampton FHC Indoor Tournament, they were unfortunate to lose to CFHCC 3-2 in a shoot-out in the finals after the scores were level at the full time period.
Earlier in the spring, they became Indoor Champions of the U-16 league tournament conducted by FHO, beating CFHCC convincingly by 6-1 in the finals.

Two Titans selected to Canadian National Junior Development Team!

Congratulations to Shannon Pereira and Adrienne Houle on being selected to the Canadian Women’s National Junior Development Team!  Shannon and Adrienne will be part of the team set to take part in a four-game series against the US Under-21 team at Spooky Nook in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, from February 9 to 17, 2015.

Gold for U-16 Girls at Brampton FHC Tournament

Brampton FHC Tournament 2014 U16 Girls WinnersOur U-16 Girls were crowned champions at the Brampton FHC Tournament yesterday.  Our girls played against all odds and emerged deserving winners!  They beat Mississauga FHC in an exciting final game 3-1 in shoot-outs after the game ended in a 3-3 draw.   Congratulations to all our players and our coaches on this outstanding performance!

Titans Athletes and Staff at the Pan Am Indoor Cup 2014

The men’s and women’s Canadian Indoor National teams for the upcoming Pan Am Cup were announced Monday, March 17th. The two teams will head to Montevideo, Uruguay (April 7-12) to compete in the tournament and vie for an entry into the Indoor World Cup next year.

Gold for Titans U-19 Girls at Scarborough Cup

U19 Girls Winners Scarborough Cup 2013The Titans U-19 Girls Blue Team successfully defended their title with an all-win record in their pool. In the final game against AC Academy they came back from a 2 goal deficit to tie the match in regulation time, and went on to win  in a shoot-out by 2 goals to nil. Titans’ Shannon Pereira won the MVP award for this division.  
Our Girls U-16 Team won the Bronze in their division, with  2 wins, a tie and a loss.  They also competed in the Girls U-19 division and finished with 1 win and 3 losses.  Our Boys U21 team were out of the medals with 1 win and 3 losses. 
Congratulations to our teams and thanks to our coaches – Vince Mascarenhas and Azelia Liu for the Girls Teams and to Pardeep Konar for the Boys team.   Thanks also to the efforts of Joseph Fernando, through which we were able to enter an U-10 team int he tournament.

U-16 Girls win Gold at OKD Tournament

DSC09424Congratulations to our U-16 team on their stellar performance at the OKD 7-a-side tournament.  Playing short and without some core players, the team remained unbeaten through round-robin play, thanks to outstanding performances from Rebecca, Tina, Lakshmi and Carolyn.  They went on to win the finals in exciting fashion through penalty shoot-outs against Peel Sports.  Great work, players and coaches!
